Who is Rose?
Rose works at the Twillford library and brings the opening card of the game: Librarian Workwear, which asks only for a professional dress of quality 60 or better — the gentlest brief you will receive. Her later cards quietly teach the rest of the system: a warm layer for cold late shifts, a linen-and-wool conference dress, and a gravedigging outfit that must stay simple and avoid white.
Her life keeps leaking into the commissions. The wiki notes mice eating her clothes, and her Rodent Relations card asks for something cute, playful and largely pink; her late-story Both of Us? pays 2,500 for a cotton-only dress.

Two cards cap the flourishes — Chilly Overtime caps Cute and Romantic at 20 each (20 is allowed), and Tomb Raider caps Elaborate at 5 (5 is allowed), Rose’s practical streak. The surprises are Bold Tigress (orange-and-black sequins) and Both of Us?, a 2,500-gold cotton-only late card. Rodent Relations is the mice made literal.
Story notes
The Wiki names Rose’s story achievement A Rose By Any Other Name. Rose is the game’s on-boarding: her first two cards teach Professional and the fabric mix, and her Personal style page fills in as Professional and Simple. Her late return at 2,500 gold makes her the clearest example of the early-client comeback in the budget arc.
Her gravedigging card sits on the same story spine as the funeral dresses that open the game — compare Prudence’s, Priya’s and Marie’s briefs.
